Please plan to attend the monthly meeting of the Democratic Club of Big Bear Valley, Thursday August 2, 6:30 PM, at the Big Bear Discovery Center, featuring Socorro Cisneros, who will talk about how we can support her campaign for State Assembly District 33. Socorro Cisneros is a strong progressive candidate on our local ballot who will drive voter participation thanks to her inspiring history of activism.  A dynamic candidate can help drive our efforts to register voters and get out the vote.  Next week’s meeting will also include a review of “flippable” House districts in California and how we can help return checks-and-balances to the insanity of the Trump administration.

Please mark the date on your calendars for the DCBBV-sponserd Cisneros Fundraiser Sep 21, 2018, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on the patio at Sonora Cantina.  A donation of $15/person or $25/couple to the Cisneros campaign will provide a chance to meet and speak with the candidate and enjoy hors d’oeuvres provided by the Club.  Beverages will be available to purchase in support of Sonora Cantina.
